Doc. Dr. Ivan Ergelašev has been a Specialist in Thoracic Surgery since 2020. He defended his doctoral thesis titled: “Evaluation of Cardiac Function After Bilateral Thoracoscopic Sympathectomy in Patients with Primary Hyperhidrosis” in 2025, earning the title of Doctor of Medical Sciences. In the field of thoracic surgery, he deals with the complete spectrum of operative and conservative treatment of oncological, non-oncological, and traumatic conditions, as well as thyroid surgery. He has trained in China, Spain, Portugal, Denmark, and Slovenia.
Doc. Dr. Ivan Ergelašev began working at the Institute for Lung Diseases of Vojvodina in 2012. He is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Medicine in Novi Sad, Department of Surgery. He is the author and co-author of numerous works, including 8 on the SCI list.
