Patient Responsibilities
- Patients’ responsibility for their personal health
- Patients’ responsibility towards other users of healthcare services
- Patients’ responsibility towards healthcare professionals and healthcare associates
A patient who believes that their right to healthcare has been denied, or that they have been deprived of any rights in the field of healthcare by the actions of a healthcare professional or healthcare associate, has the right to file a complaint with the healthcare professional managing the process, the patient advocate, or the patient rights protection advisor.
In addition to the patient, the right to appeal is held by the patient’s relatives or their legal representative.
