Ivana Spasojević, née Telečki, was born in Subotica in 1973. She completed primary school and high school at "Jovan Jovanović Zmaj" in Novi Sad. She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in Novi Sad in 2001. Since 2002, she has been working at the Clinic for Thoracic Surgery, Department of Anesthesia, Institute for Lung Diseases of Vojvodina in Sremska Kamenica. She completed her subspecialty in Anesthesiology and Reanimatology in 2008 at the Faculty of Medicine in Novi Sad.
She is a member of the Serbian Association of Anesthesiologists and Intensivists (UAIS), the European Society of Anesthesiology (ESA), and the European Respiratory Society (ERS). She has published several authored and co-authored papers in the field of anesthesiology and intensive therapy. She has also delivered numerous lectures in the same field. She works as a lecturer at the Higher Vocational School "ICEPS" where she teaches the subject of Health Care in the Intensive Care Unit. She is the Secretary of the Section for Anesthesia, Intensive Therapy, and Pain Therapy DLV-SLD. She speaks English. She is married and a mother of two children.
She works as the Head of the Intensive Care and Operating Room Department at the Clinic for Thoracic Surgery IPBV.
