She was born on November 3, 1983, in Novi Sad. As a recipient of the Vuk Diploma, she graduated from the Gymnasium in Bečej and in 2002 enrolled in the Faculty of Medicine in Novi Sad, where she graduated in May 2008 with an average grade of 9.62. For her academic achievements during her studies, she has been awarded multiple times by the University of Novi Sad.
Since April 2009, she has been employed in the Department of Pathological Anatomy and Molecular Diagnostics at the Institute of Lung Diseases of Vojvodina, and since December 2009 at the Department of Pathology of the Faculty of Medicine in Novi Sad. She has mentored one defended doctoral dissertation and several defended final theses. She is the author and co-author of several dozen papers on the SCI list, the author of five practical manuals, two textbooks, and the editor of one textbook in the field of pathology.
She has participated in numerous national and European congresses. She has received grants four times from the European Association of Pathologists for participation in European and World Congresses of Pathologists. She speaks English and is proficient in Spanish.
