Prof. Dr. Sci. Med. Ivan Kopitović is a specialist in internal medicine and a subspecialist in pulmonology, a full professor at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Novi Sad, and a physician at the Institute for Lung Diseases of Vojvodina. He is the head of the Service for Pathophysiology of Breathing and Sleep-Related Respiratory Disorders. He is engaged in clinical and research work in the field of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, asthma, asthma-COPD overlap syndrome, sleep-related breathing disorders, and respiratory physiology.
