Born on November 2, 1973, in Osijek. Completed primary school in Tenja and Zmaj Jovina Gymnasium in Novi Sad. Enrolled in the Faculty of Medicine in Novi Sad in 1992/93, graduating in 2000. The following year, he began working at the Clinical Center of Vojvodina, Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care, where he also enrolled in a specialization. Specialization completed in 2005. During his work at the Clinical Center of Vojvodina, he was the head of the Intensive Care Unit for Transplanted Patients. In October 2018, he transferred to the Clinic for Thoracic Surgery, Institute for Lung Diseases of Vojvodina.
