Maja Bogdan was born in Novi Sad on July 28, 1989. She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in Novi Sad in 2014 with an average grade of 9.54. In the same year, she received the 'Dositej Scholarship' awarded by the Ministry of Youth and Sports to the best young talents. From 2015 to 2019, she worked as an assistant at the Department of Physiology at the Faculty of Medicine in Novi Sad. In 2020, she defended her doctoral dissertation titled 'The Influence of Female Sex Hormones on Nasal Function during the Menstrual Cycle and Postmenopause.' In January 2025, she passed the specialist exam in internal medicine. In October 2025, she was appointed as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Internal Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine in Novi Sad.
In January 2019, she began working at the Institute for Lung Diseases of Vojvodina in the Clinic for Allergology, Obstructive Lung Diseases, and Respiratory Infections. In the same year, she completed the course of the European School of Spirometry, Association of Medicine DMD.
