Doc. Dr. Srđan Gavrilović is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Emergency Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, University of Novi Sad, and a subspecialist in intensive care medicine. He has been employed at the Department of Intensive Care, Institute for Pulmonary Diseases of Vojvodina in Sremska Kamenica since 2008. He obtained his Doctor of Medical Sciences degree in 2021 (thesis: Independent Predictors of Mortality in Patients with Sepsis). He is the author of more than 20 publications in relevant international medical journals.
He is an active member of the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine (ESICM) and the working group on systemic inflammation and sepsis. He is a guest lecturer in the MSc program in Intensive Care Medicine at the University of Glasgow. He participates in international research projects in the field of intensive and emergency medicine.

Creator and founder of the mobile and web application Fixit.city (2017) for environmental issues and their effective resolution in the community. Co-editor of the professional medical journal "Medicina danas", Novi Sad (2016 – ongoing); president of the same association. Editor and reviewer of the booklet publications of the CERTAIN project (2014 – ongoing). From 1995 to 2006, actively engaged in professional sports (shooting) at the highest level, achieving notable international results as a member of the national team of Yugoslavia/SCG.
