Professor Dr. Nensi Lalić, born on 27.02.1968 in Novi Sad, enrolled at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Novi Sad in 1986/87, and graduated in 1991/92. She completed her specialization in pneumonology in 1999, and her subspecialty in oncology in 2003, obtaining the qualifications of a bronchologist in 2004. She earned the academic title of Master of Medical Sciences in 2007, defending her master's thesis "Characteristics of Bronchial Cancer in Women in Vojvodina." She defended her doctoral thesis titled "Beta Estrogen Receptor as a Prognostic Factor in Lung Adenocarcinoma" at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Novi Sad in 2013.
She is a member of the editorial board of the SCI journal Serbian Archives. In 2009, she obtained the title of instructor from the Resuscitation Alliance of Serbia, and in 2010, she became an instructor of the ERC (European Resuscitation Council).
Since 2007, she has been employed at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Novi Sad, and has held the title of full professor since her election in September of this year. She is the head of the courses at the mentioned faculty: "Health Care in Painful Conditions" and "Palliative Care."
