The Institute for Lung Diseases of Vojvodina is located in Sremska Kamenica, in close proximity to Novi Sad, on the right bank of the Danube, in a picturesque setting at the foothills of Fruška Gora. It is surrounded by a large park with lush greenery and rare plant species, and situated in an area of intersecting air currents, which gives it the characteristics of a natural air spa.
The Institute is today a modern healthcare, educational, and research institution managed and led by Prof. Dr. Sc. Med. Ilija Andrijević.
The availability of accommodation capacity at the clinics is 312 patient beds, allowing for the hospitalization of over 7000 patients annually.
The Institute is equipped with modern medical equipment for diagnosis and treatment, as well as competent medical personnel whose expertise, experience, and efficiency, along with continuous professional development, enable the application of modern diagnostic and treatment methods.

The Institute for Lung Diseases of Vojvodina plays a significant role as a teaching base for the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Novi Sad. The Institute conducts undergraduate education, in Serbian and English, for students of general medicine, dentistry, nursing, as well as postgraduate education for obtaining specialization in internal medicine, surgery, emergency medicine, pathology, radiology, and medical biochemistry, or for obtaining academic titles of Master and Doctor of Science.
The medical staff of the Institute actively participates in numerous professional seminars both domestically and internationally. The physicians of the Institute maintain continuous professional collaboration with pulmonary clinics in the country and abroad: in Essen (Germany), Modena (Italy), Pittsburgh, and Chicago (USA). The Institute has also established and maintains special professional collaboration with medical faculties in Szeged and Budapest.
